Kathmandu, Nepal

This will be my entry on Kathmandu. The perks of having a travel journal. You write it down. Close the book. Open it again few months later, you will remember the places you have visited. Even the tiniest detail that you probably have forgotten! It has been a few months since my last trip to Nepal, and it seemed like its been too long. Wadi Rum, Jordan

My first desert experience. This post are mostly pictures from the day trip in Wadi Rum. I was lucky to visit this protected site also known as the valley of the moon. We started early in the morning to the desert from Petra, further south of Jordan to the Wadi Rum Visitor's Centre. Here the weather is still pretty cool in November. Since we didn't take the 'traditional' way travelling in the desert by riding camels, we go the modern way! 4x4!! Here in the picture the Bedouins are setting up our ride for the day. Splendid views - our guide explained to us how the Bedouin tribe lived and how they travel from one desert to another. What amaze me is that the people here are really friendly. We made a stop on the higher area of the desert where I get to feel the desert trail. I wish that we could stay longer at the desert and learn a thing or two from the tribe. We stopped at one of the campsite and I can tell that this place is l...
